Anarlog v1.4.6

Anarlog 1.4.6 adds transcript editing, meeting history imports from 30 other assistants, and automations that deliver each meeting summary to Slack, Linear, Notion, or a Markdown folder.

Automations

  • Let automations run after each meeting once the AI summary is ready: export the note as Markdown to a folder you choose, post the summary to a Slack channel, file open action items as Linear issues, or append the summary to a Notion page
  • Set each automation up in settings with pickers for the destination, an enable/disable switch, and a status line showing the last run
  • Browse automations from a sidebar list and open each one's detail view, with its own chat thread kept per automation and a plus button that starts a fresh draft

Transcripts

  • Edit transcript text directly, and switch between reading and editing modes
  • Reassign a speaker by selecting the words that belong to them
  • Create a new speaker while reassigning instead of picking from existing ones only

Meetings

  • Start recording from a new ad hoc note without creating a calendar event first
  • Keep scheduled event details visible after a meeting ends, and see resume listening in the transcript menu instead of stale recording controls
  • Rename a note straight from its header
  • Hear saved recordings evenly through both speakers instead of one side

Memos and templates

  • Pick a template in an empty memo and get its section headings right away
  • See template suggestions ranked from the meeting and its participants, with your favorites on top, plus a shortcut to create a new template
  • Keep the template you chose before a meeting when the summary is generated, including your edited section headings
  • Rename a template and change its icon right from the details toolbar

Importing

  • Bring your meeting history over from 30 other meeting assistants, including Granola, Otter, Fireflies, Fathom, Notion AI Meeting Notes, and Zoom
  • See only the apps actually installed on your machine, with their icons and per-app import instructions

Contacts

  • Put a real photo on a person or organization by clicking their avatar; uploads are compressed automatically and shown across contact lists and pages, with a menu action to remove the photo
  • Scroll each contact page as one piece, with pin and delete actions in a compact header menu

Sharing

  • Send a meeting recap by email or Slack from the same share flow
  • Get a note-specific preview when a shared link is posted to social apps and chat
  • Add comments from the selection toolbar in the editor

Settings and appearance

  • Find Calendar, Contacts, Templates, and Automations under a new Workspace group in settings, with audio controls folded into Meetings
  • Add dictionary entries from a compact control, with guidance while the dictionary is still empty
  • Stay in the automation workspace without the chat panel detaching
  • Follow system light and dark appearance reliably, with the Dock icon now matching your theme choice automatically instead of a separate toggle
  • Read documents with a heading scale that no longer competes with the title
  • Connect Apple Calendar with a single click from the calendar list instead of an expandable permission row
  • See one back button and evenly aligned header icons in Settings, Calendar, Contacts, Templates, and Automations, without a redundant sidebar title
  • Get a tidier chat panel: tighter input padding, header icons aligned with the sidebar, and a placeholder that fits narrow widths

Fixes

  • Start your Pro trial automatically when you sign up with an eligible account, and recover trials that were missed earlier
  • Click anywhere in an empty note to start typing; template suggestions no longer block the editor
  • See summary bullets spaced the same while streaming as in the finished note
  • Use the header buttons in Settings, Calendar, and Automations views that the window controls previously covered
  • Keep update notices out of live meetings, and have them come back after being dismissed until the update is actually installed; automatic updates also wait until your meeting ends
  • Skip summary generation when a transcript is too short, whether it runs automatically, from regenerate, or from applying a template, with a single notice instead of repeated ones
  • See Sync settings only while signed in
  • Keep app sounds from crashing the app on Linux
  • Start the app on Linux systems that are missing the tray icon library or desktop protocol-handler tools instead of crashing at launch
